A fantastic opportunity has arised for a Permanent Skills Development Manager on a Full time basis.
 

Purpose of job

1.Generate apprenticeship starts in line with agreed profiles

2.To secure new key accounts with employer organisations that require workforce training and development solutions using a blend of government and commercial funding.

3.Identify and establish constructive partnerships and collaborative working arrangements at an operational level to secure new business.

4.To promote the identity of the company

Key tasks

Produce a clearly defined regional territory plan that is fit for purpose and meets all business objectives.

Maintain and develop a computerised prospect database.

Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally (all Directorates) and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable development.

Develop co-operation and collaborative working practice with the companies Recruitment Service to maximise leads and create new business opportunities.

Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings (e.g. team briefs, sector meetings, network events) as necessary to perform duties and to aid business development.

Update and maintain the companies products and services knowledge and that of other departments within company

Adherence to the companies core competencies, policies and procedures including Dignity at Work, Health & Safety & Quality.

Key Measurements

·On target performance against Key Performance Indicators and Sales targets.

·Complete customer satisfaction.

·Accurate and timely completion of reports / data.

·Net Promoter Scores / SLA’s.

Key Requirements

Qualifications

NVQ level 3 or equivalent in sales/marketing (desirable).

Experience

Commercial/ Industry related background.

Sales/change management experience.

Demonstrable track record of consistently achieving sales performance targets.

Skills

Enthusiastic team player.

Strong track record in sales/marketing.

Excellentcustomer service focus.

Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.

Well developed interpersonal & communication skills.

Create, maintain and promote good working relationships.

Able to achieve deadlines and targets.

High level of self motivation and ability to work on own initiative.

Other

Car owner and hold a current driving licence.

Be able to work flexible hours and locations.
